Flying from Vietnam to the Philippines

Before departure, passengers traveling from Vietnam to the Philippines must prepare all essential travel documents, including a valid passport, air tickets, and any necessary identification. Below are the specific entry requirements for the Philippines that travelers should be aware of:


🛂 Passport Requirements

  • The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the expected date of entry into the Philippines.

  • It should have at least one blank page for entry stamps.


🛃 Visa Policy

Visa-Free Entry for Vietnamese Citizens

  • Vietnamese passport holders can enter the Philippines without a visa for up to 21 days.

  • Conditions:

    • A valid return or onward ticket (e.g., to a third country)

    • A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned departure date from the Philippines

💻 eTravel Card Requirement

  • All international travelers must complete an eTravel Card registration within 72 hours before arrival.

  • Register at the official eTravel Portal


🦠 Quarantine & COVID-19 Regulations

  • No COVID-19 vaccination proof is required

  • No PCR testing or health declaration is needed before entry


💰 Cash Declaration

  • Travelers may bring up to PHP 50,000 (approx. USD 880) or USD 10,000 in foreign currency without declaration.

  • Amounts above this limit must be declared at customs on arrival or departure.


🐾 Pet Import Regulations

Passengers traveling with pets must comply with the Philippine Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) requirements:

  • Obtain an Import Permit from the BAI Importer Registration Portal

  • Present a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 30 days before arrival

  • Pets (dogs and cats) must have an ISO-compliant microchip or RFID identification
