Flying from Vietnam to Singapore

Before departure, passengers traveling from Vietnam to Singapore should ensure they have all the required travel documents, such as a valid passport, airfare confirmation, and identification papers. Below are the entry regulations and travel requirements that Vietnamese citizens and other foreign travelers must be aware of:

🛂 Passport Requirements

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Singapore.

• It should contain at least one blank page for immigration stamping.

🛃 Visa Requirements

Visa-Free Entry for Vietnamese Citizens

• Vietnamese passport holders are exempt from a visa for stays of up to 30 days.

• Requirements for visa-free entry:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months

  • A confirmed return or onward ticket

  • Proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of stay

Stays Over 30 Days

• For visits exceeding 30 days, a valid Singapore visa must be obtained.

📱 SG Arrival Card

• All foreign visitors must submit an SG Arrival Card electronically within 3 days (including the day of arrival).

• As of February 13, 2023, COVID-19 vaccination certificates and health declarations are no longer required for entry.

Yellow Fever Vaccination

• Travelers coming from yellow fever-affected countries must present an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever.

• Without the certificate, passengers may be quarantined for 6 days upon arrival in Singapore.

💰 Cash Declaration

• Passengers may bring up to SGD 20,000 (or equivalent foreign currency) into Singapore without declaration.

• Amounts exceeding SGD 20,000 must be declared to customs at the point of entry.
